The Irish Art Song Project/Amhrán Ealaíne Ghaeilge (Artistic Director: Dáirine Ní Mheadhra) was launched on October 17th. I set excerpts from Myles na gCopaleen’s (Flann O’Brien) “An Béal Bocht”. The Tanglewood festival will feature a new work commissioned by the festival: g=piano quartet (for agnes martin) on August 9th and a performance of music for people who like art on August 11th.
On June 22nd 2019 participants of the Nief-Norf Summer Festival in Knoxville, Tennessee will perform music for people who like art. More info here.

Aoife Ni Bhriain from Crash Ensemble will perform WALDO, a work for solo violin originally written for the South African violinist Waldo Alexander on March 8th in The Korzo Theatre, The Hague. More details here.
