New and old work at Tanglewood
The Tanglewood festival will feature a new work commissioned by the festival: g=piano quartet (for agnes martin) on August 9th and a performance of music for people who like art on August 11th.

On June 22nd 2019 participants of the Nief-Norf Summer Festival in Knoxville, Tennessee will perform music for people who like art. More info here.

‘c’ at Tectonics
‘c’ (2016) will be have its first UK performance at the Tectonics Festival by the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra conducted by Ilan Volkov on May 4th. More info here.

Aoife Ni Bhriain from Crash Ensemble will perform WALDO, a work for solo violin originally written for the South African violinist Waldo Alexander on March 8th in The Korzo Theatre, The Hague. More details here.

The Chilean/Irish filmmaker José Miguel Jiménez has made three films for the pieces O’ROURKE (performed by Michelle O’Rourke), music for donkeys who like music and music for people who like art C (both performed by Crash Ensemble ). They were first shown at the Irish Film Institute on December 16th and you can watch them here:

Ensemble Klang are celebrating their 15 years of existence with a great looking festival “Musical Utopias” at the Korzo Theatre in The Hague and alongside students of the Koninklijk Conservatorium they will perform “music for people who like nature” which was originally written for Orkest de Volharding on Saturday 22nd December at 15.00.
